Minnesota Outdoors – Walleye Report (This Morning)
Fished 6:30–10:00 AM and the walleyes were moving early. Picked up 10 keepers, let a 25‑inch go to swim another day.
The hot setup was a jig and sucker minnow — steady action, fish hitting hard. A bobber, jig, and leech combo produced a couple bonus fish when the wind laid down.
Classic mid‑July pattern: Walleyes sliding up to feed, then dropping back once the sun gets higher.
