When they move, they move fast — and today was the confirmation.

They’re done guarding, done chasing shallow intruders, and now they’re sliding out to that first breakline. Today they were stacked in 12–16 feet, right where the basin meets the weed edge.

    That depth shift is the official sign that:

    • The spawn is wrapped up

    • The easy shallow bite is over

    • Summer patterns are taking over
